Available Leadership Roles

All of our open positions are on a volunteer basis. We offer fully flexible and customizable schedules, the opportunity to be part of the founding team of an exciting new social venture and do good for the world while building out your resume, in addition to all of the letters of recommendation or LinkedIn skill endorsements you need.

 

Graphic designer

We’re seeking a talented graphic design intern to join our team. This position is fully remote. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable about design principles and has experience creating logos and branded materials. They are creative, detail-oriented and proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. This is a great portfolio building opportunity that only requires a minimal time commitment.


Events specialist

The ideal candidate is a true “people person” - someone who is excited about our mission and is able to get other people excited about it too. The events specialist will be responsible for helping to execute, organize and promote events. They should have excellent communication and organization skills, and the ability to communicate the mission of The SOS Coalition to event attendees. Applicants with a background in hospitality, food and beverage, or customer service preferred but it’s not a requirement.


Photographer/video producer

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and we’re looking for a skilled visual story-teller to join our team. The photography & video production intern should have the ability to capture candid, authentic images and videos at events and community programs. They’re excited to take initiative to create content in and around ski towns and resorts. Knowledge of photo and video editing programs are not required for this position but are preferred.

Web design & app development intern

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about saving our slopes to help build out our digital presence to engage people just like you. Our ideal candidate should have an understanding of programming languages and be a current student majoring in computer science or a related field. Experience building web and mobile applications is a huge plus!
